Our grandfather, Thomas Jefferson Holland, had a true passion for BBQ. A man of God, WWII Marine veteran, retired businessman, politician, avid hunter, gentleman farmer, devoted family man — he was all of these, yet to us, he was simply Pa. He was outspoken, steadfast in his beliefs, and proud of doing things the right way — always by the book.

His BBQ sauce recipe became a local favorite, especially among patrons of his North Little Rock restaurant, The Hickory House. He later passed the recipe down to his son, Steve Holland, who carried on the tradition — serving the same beloved sauce and hickory‑smoked goodness at his C‑store, the Come N’ Gitit.

We created TJ Holland’s BBQ Sauce to honor Pa’s legacy and share the unforgettable flavor he perfected over a lifetime.
